ToyGuard Sanitisers use Byotrol technology. The patented formulation has been tested and proven to have efficacy against harmful pathogens, spores and algae. This makes it a very safe alternative to Sodium Hypochlorite and other harsh chemicals.
The water-based solution incorporates fast acting biocides trapped in a polymer spine. When applied, the polymer forms a coating made up of a series of microscopic spikes that stick to exposed surfaces to create extreme differences in surface tension affecting the ability of micro organisms (and dirt) to stick.
We put two identical ducks in the bath, but first sprayed one with ToyGuard Sanitiser. We then gave
them to Katie (our Chief Testing Engineer) to play with in the bath for six months. The photo shows the inside of the ducks. There is no algae growth on the treated duck.
