ToyGuard’s Hygiene Audit is a complete, independent, expert assessment of the nursery, play centre or crèche that ensures the highest standards of hygiene and identifies cost-saving measures.

ToyGuard Accreditation is given to premises that satisfy the high standards of our inspectors, all of whom are fully qualified Members or Fellows of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.

Accreditated nurseries are awarded with a certificate and dated window sticker to communicate a clear message to children, parents, the community and businesses that you are dedicated to keeping the children in your care protected.

The unique 21-point ToyGuard Hygiene Audit has been carefully designed to incorporate best industry practice, be simple and effective, and to consider all aspects of hygiene and safety covering:

• Policy and Procedure
• General Nursery Hygiene
• Kitchen Hygiene and Food Safety
• Waste Management and Pest Control
• Compliance with Legislation
• Local Environmental Health Officer (EHO) Inspections and Issues.

ToyGuard provides a confidential, detailed audit report which includes specific recommendations in-line with latest  legislation. ToyGuard provide ongoing advice on how to deal with any identified risks and, as an added extra, ToyGuard provides FREE handwashing training to the nurseries it audits.
